This LED strip utilises CREE’s high power LEDs. Each LED uses just 0.5W of energy to produce 46 lumens. The LEDs are mounted on an aluminium plate to ensure that light output is maintained and the heat is managed effectively

Long Slabs

A selection of slab LEDs designed as alternatives to standard 12 volt fluorescent light fittings. The big benefit of this new range of slab LEDs is the sheer amount of light they produce compared to fluorescent fittings of a similar size. Even the small 30cm long slab makes a standard double tube fluorescent light look sad.

Please be aware of the potential power saving of LEDs compared to fluorescent tubes: when you change from halogen bulbs to LEDs you save around 90% of the power but moving from fluorescent light to LEDs saves nearer 25% of the power as fluorescent are themselves fairly efficient. Even this 25% saving can make a difference of many hours of battery life! The double benefit with these "Slab LEDs" is the extra light output you obtain in addition to the power saving. The 40cm Cool White unit consumes 25% less power than a standard double tube fluorescent but gives 50% extra light.

Slim Slab

A slim-line, low profile light with an integrated night light for visiting children or night time toilet visits! Also ideal if your're popping out for a few orange juices with friends and you don't want to come back to a dark van.
